Software Support Specialist

Diocesan is seeking a Church Software Support Specialist to join our Digital Products Team. This role provides technical support, training, and onboarding for parishes using our software. This is a full-time position in our Byron Center, Michigan office.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary support contact for churches using our software
  • Respond to customer support requests via phone and email in a professional, customer-first manner
  • Onboard and train new clients on our software
  • Create, document, and manage support cases in our CRM/ticketing system
  • Provide clear, timely updates to clients on open issues and resolutions
  • Lead client onboarding sessions and conduct software training for parish staff
  • Participate in weekly team support meetings and collaborate with internal teams
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Proficiency with common computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, web-based tools)

Individuals With The Following Experience or Technical Skills

  • Experience with church management or nonprofit database systems
  • Familiarity with parish operations, Catholic terminology, or diocesan workflows
  • Church bookkeeping or contribution management experience is a plus
  • Experience using CRM or ticketing systems
  • Experience providing customer support
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (not required)
