Bulletin Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a warm, organized, and proactive Customer Service Representative to support parishes using Diocesan’s bulletin services. You will serve as the primary point of contact for churches experiencing issues with their bulletin, whether that’s troubleshooting the software they’re using, helping them update their template, or simply answering questions they might have about our website. Your goal is simple: make sure every parish has what they need to get their bulletin done, without stress. Beyond day-to-day support, you’ll also serve as the point of contact for new parishes joining Diocesan.

This is an in-person position in our Byron Center office, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parishes experiencing issues with their bulletin.
  • Troubleshoot software issues related to their publishing software.
  • Walk parishes through using the platform tools on our website.
  • Serve as the point of contact for new parishes joining Diocesan’s bulletin program.
  • Train new parishes on Diocesan’s method of submitting their bulletin, including platform tools and deadlines.
  • Provide hands-on support through a parish’s first bulletin submission, to ensure a smooth transition.

You Are Someone Who

  • Can adjust your communication style depending on the person you’re assisting.
  • Remains calm and solution-focused under pressure.
  • Takes ownership of problems and follows them through to resolution.
  • Values professionalism and positive client relationships.

You understand that excellent support is not just about fixing a problem—it’s about building relationships.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and tasks simultaneously.
  • A friendly, patient, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Experience in customer service, account management, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with various publishing software, such as Microsoft Word, Canva, and Affinity.
  • Bilingual (not required, but beneficial)
Benefits
  • Medical and Prescription coverage.
  • 401K with Company Match.
  • Life insurance for self and dependents.

This is a full-time position, located in our Byron Center office. The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:30-5:00.

In addition to the benefits above of Medical Health Insurance with Prescription Coverage, Term Life Insurance, STD and LTD Insurance, and a 401 (k) Plan, we offer a fun, family atmosphere as a service provider to the Catholic Church, focusing on their communication needs.
