To create a custom formatted newsletter-type of email message, follow the steps below:

1. Click on Compose Button or the New Message Icon.
2. Click on Use Designer
3. Enter a Subject.  This is a required field.
4. Select the group or groups you would like to receive the message.
5. Select Blocks in the Right Column
   1. Drag the Block you want to the document
   2. Add More Blocks as needed
6. Select Content in the Right Column
   1. Drag the type of Content you want to the block(s) in the document
   2. Edit the content in the box
7. Click on the preview icon.
8. Edit previews as needed.
9. Click on Send.
10. Click Send Now.

To assign an Administrator to a group, follow these steps:

Once you have created a message, you can have it send to specific platforms.

1. Create your message
2. Click on the Preview arrow
3. Select the platforms in gray
4. Turn the toggle switch off for the platform(s) you don’t want to send to
5. Click on Send
6. Verify the platform(s) in purple are the ones you want to send to
7. Click Send Now

Once your organization has been connected to myParish App, you can connect any Group to myParish App by doing the following:

1. Click on Groups
2. Select a Group and click on it
3. Click on Settings (center column)
4. Scroll to Share Options
5. Turn the toggle on for “Link to myParish App profile” (if this slider is greyed out and will not move, you will need to contact Diocesan to further set up the connection between Evangilus and MyParish app.)

To post messages to your Twitter page, please follow the steps below.

1. Click on Groups
2. Select a Group and click on it
3. Click on Settings (gear icon in the center column)
4. Scroll to Share Options
5. Turn the toggle on for “Post to Twitter”
6. Login into the Twitter account

You will need to have a RSS feed module on your website where you want the Evangelus messages to post.

1. Click on Groups.
2. Select a Group and click on it.
3. Click on Settings (gear icon in center column).
4. Scroll down to Share Options.
5. slide the toggle to the right for “Post on website”.
6. Click on Copy URL. (This will show a purple bar in the top right saying “RSS feed copied to clipboard”)
7. Paste the URL into the RSS feed module on your website.

When a member replies to a message you have sent, you can respond by clicking on the gray arrow directly under the reply. This will send a message to only that member. You can reply to the entire group by clicking in the box under the reply that states “reply to entire group”.
