Optimizing Your Communication
People Rely on Your Bulletin
Your parish bulletin is a time-tested resource for parishioners and visitors to find the most accurate information they need regarding sacraments and parish life. When all else fails, people look to the bulletin for parish news and information.
We have outlined a series of bulletin strategies and best practices for effective ongoing communication during this crisis.
myParish App: Your Digital Parish
From messages and quick access to the digital bulletin to offering easy access to the Mass and liturgical prayers, your parish app may be your biggest asset to maintaining effective communication and helping parishioners sustain their faith life during the pandemic.
Please review our strategies for helping your parishioners weather the storm and stay connected using your parish’s app.
Your Parish Website
Your parish website is the hub of your online presence. Direct people to your website for the latest news regarding the effect of COVID-19 on your parish community. Here are a few quick tips to get you started.
- Create a dedicated page or section on your website for details related to the Coronavirus.
- Important information should be clearly visible on your home page.

In addition to convenient access through myParish App, it is also simple for people to subscribe to your weekly bulletin at DiscoverMass.com. Subscribers are automatically emailed your digital bulletin every week.

Novena Prayer to St. Rocco
O Great St. Rocco, deliver us, we beseech thee, from the scourges of God; through thy intercession, preserve our bodies from contagious diseases, and our souls from the contagion of sin. Obtain for us salubrious air; but, above all, purity of heart. Assist us to make good use of health, to bear suffering with patience; and, after thy example, to live in the practice of penance and charity, that we may one day enjoy the happiness which thou has merited by thy virtues.
St. Rocco, pray for us (say three times).
